Finance Advisory Committee The Finance Advisory Committee advises the City Council on financial matters pertaining to the governing of the City, as well as on the use of fiscal resources. The Commission consists of 8 members who each serve two year terms of office. Members are selected by the City Council on the basis of their knowledge, experience, and qualifications in financial management and related areas. The Finance Committee undertakes and performs specific tasks in the areas of financial management, financial planning, resource utilization, and such other related tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the City Council. The Finance Committee meetings are generally scheduled for the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, with the flexibility of meeting on an as needed basis.
